Superbowl Extravaganza!

Tressa hosted a fun filled SUPERBOWL EXTRAVAGANZA on Sunday, Feb. 4th.
Every routine was either a past Superbowl Halftime Performer, or and artist who has sung the National Anthem at the Superbowl.

There was fun and games....and as you can see --- prizes too!

Looks like the pom poms made their way around the room.

Looks like the players AND the cheerleaders are ready to rumble!

Although I didn't participate in the Superbowl workout, I did celebrate with friends at Wayne's Annual Superbowl Bash. Here' s one of my best buddies, Jura, with her daughters Mary Catherine and Zeyna enjoying the game.

As always, Wayne served up a great pasta dinner at half time. Her's Barbra, Erin & I watching the game and enjoying the fire.

(Watch for a comeback from the Steelers next year!)

By Invitation............

We kicked off the year with a cool event we called, Invitation Only....with Jazzercise & Cocktails (the cocktails came AFTER the workout). This was an idea from Peg (receiving flowers above for her hard work).

We team taught this class (Tressa, Eleanor, Jodie, Pina, Peg & myself) and invited all those friends who SAY they're going to come to one of our classes SOMEDAY.

The class was high energy and there were a lot of laughs as a roomful of "first timers" mastered the steps.

Following the class we headed over to Beth's, who graciously offered her home for the after party.

Guess there were no pictures taken there, because we were busy enjoying the fabulous food and drinks. Peg can make some mean frozen drinks!! I think I'm going to have her cater my next party.

Even Beth's husband, Larry, got into the act and was a charming host & waiter. It was a fun night and I am met lots of great new women (whom we hope to see back on the dance floor soon!).

Thanks to the instructors who helped make it happen, Beth for offering her home, and especially Peg for putting it all together.

Happy New Year!

We enjoyed a great evening at Carl & Lisa Peterson's home in Milford celebrating New Year's Eve (Carl is the coach of Megan's basketball team) and we had lots of fun celebrating with a few other parents from the team. The Peterson's live right downtown, so we were able to walk into town to see the fireworks. The fireworks were awesome and we watched them right on the water so it was like they were falling on top of us!

Here we are toasting the New Year and warming up after the walk into town.

Looking forward to making this a fabulous year!

Annual Jazzercise Holiday Party

After a fun filled Express class, we headed to Villa Italia for our Annual Jazzercise Holiday Pizza Party (hey we earned it!) . It is always fun when morning...evening...Stamford & Norwalk folks come together for conversation & good pizza.

The staff at Villa Italia was wonderful as usual and the gorgonzola salad and warm bread are JUST as good as the pizza.

Pina looks like she might have eaten the last piece.

May Marie was back in action for the party....and it was so good to have her back!

There's Anne showing us her Jazz hands....

Angela & I have the Christmas red & green covered....

A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL !!!!!

Staff Secret Santa Party

It's hard to believe that this get together was almost a month ago!!

Our Jazzercise Team gathered at my house for cupcakes & champagne and to celebrate by exchanging our Secret Santas. That's Peg receiving a very nice scarf!

Uh, not all gifts however were suitable for the web! Hmm, what is Jeanne thinking about there?

Pina, Peg & Tressa are all smiles!

The cupcakes were delicious and very festive!
If you like a good cupcake, check out Sweet Cakes in Fairfield. I got our holiday cupcakes there and got my wedding cupcakes there as well (had to be different, and didn't get a wedding cake).

It was great to celebrate with such fabulous women and to toast to our successes this year!

Thanksgiving Week

In our usual tradition, we had our Annual 90 minute Turkey Work Off at Jazzercise. It was a full house with lots of energy and plenty of laughs. Plus, we threw in a little runway action with a fashion show, modeling the many ways to wear the new Holiday Tee. Watch out Heidi Klum!

During the month of November we challenged customers to create a Gratitude Wall by writing down something that they are grateful for every time they came to class -- AND to do it without repeating! It was a wonderful effort by everyone and truly inspiring!

On a personal note, I also had a chance to get toget
her at my home with some very special friends...Liz, Jura, Melissa and Barbara. Melis came the furthest away (from Raleigh, NC). Each one of these awesome women has been a friend for anywhere from 20-25 years! Needless to say it was a VERY late night, but worth every minute. I am definitely THANKFUL for these women.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Some sun & fun in Aruba

To celebrate our third anniversary we went to Aruba for some relaxation and fun.

I was up to see the sunrise at least twice and watched it from the roof of our building. It was fabulous! (Rich stayed in bed!)

In addition to lots of reading, we hit the golf course a few times, and I had my first ever PAR!!! Yeah!

Here's a shot of the view from the balcony of our timeshare. Every year we meet people who have been going there year after year.....and it's easy to see why. The weather is beautiful, the people are wonderful and there are so many great restaurants that we can't even visit them all in one week. Guess we'll just have to stay longer next time!
