Thanksgiving Week

In our usual tradition, we had our Annual 90 minute Turkey Work Off at Jazzercise. It was a full house with lots of energy and plenty of laughs. Plus, we threw in a little runway action with a fashion show, modeling the many ways to wear the new Holiday Tee. Watch out Heidi Klum!

During the month of November we challenged customers to create a Gratitude Wall by writing down something that they are grateful for every time they came to class -- AND to do it without repeating! It was a wonderful effort by everyone and truly inspiring!

On a personal note, I also had a chance to get toget
her at my home with some very special friends...Liz, Jura, Melissa and Barbara. Melis came the furthest away (from Raleigh, NC). Each one of these awesome women has been a friend for anywhere from 20-25 years! Needless to say it was a VERY late night, but worth every minute. I am definitely THANKFUL for these women.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Some sun & fun in Aruba

To celebrate our third anniversary we went to Aruba for some relaxation and fun.

I was up to see the sunrise at least twice and watched it from the roof of our building. It was fabulous! (Rich stayed in bed!)

In addition to lots of reading, we hit the golf course a few times, and I had my first ever PAR!!! Yeah!

Here's a shot of the view from the balcony of our timeshare. Every year we meet people who have been going there year after year.....and it's easy to see why. The weather is beautiful, the people are wonderful and there are so many great restaurants that we can't even visit them all in one week. Guess we'll just have to stay longer next time!

Halloween Hat Day

We celebrated Halloween this year with fun and crazy hats.

Eleanor and Peggy really spiced up the workout with a different hat or wig for every routine.

Here's Queenie and Meaghan look happy in hats.

Cheryl's glowing in her beautiful hat.

The Norwalk crew with their hats!

Sherry & Donna are cool and creative....and Arlene looks like she's ready for a garden party.

Remember "You don't stop playing 'cause you get old, you get old 'cause you stop playing."

Hats off to all of you!

Shower for Jodie

Suprise!!!!!!

With the help of Jodie's husband, Charlie, we were able to pull off a SURPRISE shower for Jodie at Gates in New Canaan (special thanks to Laura for organizing!).

Good food, lots of laughs and a special gift for the mother-to-be for some pampering after Emma's arrival. And this is definitely the place to be if your looking for an outrageous dessert. Check out Joan's butterscotch sundae!

Ready for BRAVO

Well, maybe not! For those inquiring minds who have been asking..........Rich and I will not be the next reality TV stars.

As many of you know, I was contacted by a producer from BRAVO to audition for a new reality show called "Better Half". Here I am on the way to the audition. The show features a different profession each week and they were looking for individuals in the fitness profession. I would have had 48 hours to teach Rich how to do my job, and then the couple compete against another couple to see which spouse does the best job.

Rich and I went in to NY for the interview and to be taped by BRAVO. We weren't chosen, but you can bet I'll be tuning in when the show airs. We had a lot of fun, enjoyed the interview process (well, at least I did!), and got to go out to lunch in the city on a Thursday. Can't beat that!
