Surf's Up

I'm always up for a challenge.....especially when it involves something new.....so I decided to hit the surf in Long Beach, Long Island with nine other fabulous women, including my buddy Pina.

After we arrived we had some instruction on the beach.

Our instructors from Surf to Live (check them out at www.surftolive.com) were great

They believe women should take time for themselves and organize interesting and cool events for women.

After we finished we enjoyed a wonderful clambake on the beach.

By the end of the evening, each of us had gotten up on our boards at least once. We were proud of ourselves for attempting this demanding, but exhilarating physical challenge.
